After popping into The White Company’s new store in Westfield. I just could not resist the fragrance of Fresh Grapefruit.

The diffuser comes in a very well packed thick cardboard package that will wrap easily and can be reused if you do need to move the diffuser to a completely different location. The diffuser costs £27.00 from The White Company website.

Everything the from packaging to diffuser jar and event the wooden diffuser rods are well made and speak volumes for the quality of the item. The diffuser has an approximate 12 week life. This will depend on whether you use all 8 diffuser reeds or just a few. There is the possibility that using less than 8 might increase the duration.

The stopper is reusable so if you do need to transport the jar to a different location, simply replace stopper and re-screw on the cap.

You might expect that a Fresh Grapefruit Diffuser could be quite strong. However I can assure that it is a really beautiful gentle fragrance that you will notice but will not be over powering. I use 2-3 reeds and that provides just the right amount of scent for a bedroom with a double bed.

The scent is very much on the sweet, crisp pink grapefruit side as opposed to a very tart yellow grapefruit or lemon. There are definite hints of jasmine and a very sweet orange or mandarin.  The scent will sit very well in a bedroom or conservatory. I would not recommend a dining room as it would interfere with a main meal.

If you are look for a home scent that is gentle, yet refreshing and perfect for Spring and Summer, then the Fresh Grapefruit from The White Company is definitely the one to go for.
